Best Toothpaste for Invisalign to Protect Your Gum and Have Less Pain

Invisalign treatment involves wearing attachments and clear aligners on your teeth for extended periods of time, which can be challenging for your gum health. Strong gums are vital for overall dental health and can prevent potential complications during the Invisalign process, which requires wearing your Invisalign aligners more than 20 hours a day.

However, if your gums are weak or have a history of dental issues, including tooth decay and bad oral hygiene troubles, extra care and support are necessary during orthodontic treatment. In this blog post, I have curated a list of toothpaste that I have personally tried and received recommendations from dental professionals and fellow Invisalign patients in a Facebook group. By sharing this list, I hope to provide valuable insights and help enhance your Invisalign journey while prioritizing your gum health.

If You’re New Here: What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment requires attachments and clear aligners to wear on your teeth. This means that you need to keep things in your mouth for long hours every day. This isn’t easy, especially for your gum. When you have strong gums, it helps overall dental health and doesn’t cause any extra troubles during the Invisalign process. However, if your gum is weak and has some medical history, you need extra care and support for your gum during your orthodontics treatment.

Toothpaste for Invisalign and Gum Health

I have compiled a list of toothpaste that I tried myself and got recommendations from a dental hygienist and my orthodontist. I also asked in a Facebook group a few months ago to double-check if the toothpaste was proven its effects — some of the group members highly recommended the same toothpaste that I had been using. So, I think this list will help your Invisalign journey as well. I hope you find it working for you too.
